The resort has 457 rooms, including 10 junior suites, 10 suites and 414 double rooms, which are located on 10 storeys and are reachable by 6 lifts. The multilingual staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Guests receive a welcome drink upon arrival. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas (for a fee). The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Film fans will find plenty of 'lights, camera, action' at the cinema. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. The spacious pool area, which includes 4 outdoorpools, is a great place for guests to relax and take a refreshing dip. Even on cool days, swimming is always at option at the indoor pool. Kids can splash around in one of the 3 children's pools. Pure relaxation in the hot tub, fun on the waterslide and refreshing drinks at the pool bar – guests will experience just how rich and varied a day in the water can be. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. The resort offers outdoor sports, including tennis, beach volleyball, volleyball, basketball and archery. Guests can partake in various water sports, including banana boat rides and water aerobics. In addition, diving is offered for a fee. A wide range of indoor sporting activities are also offered, for example table tennis, darts, callisthenics and aerobics or, for a fee, billiards and bowling. There is a wellness area with a sauna, a steam bath and a hammam and, for an additional fee, a beauty salon and massage treatments. Leisure facilities include a kids' club, a kids' disco, live music and a dance club.

Various dining options are available, including 5 restaurants, a breakfast room, a bar, a lobby bar and a piano bar. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. A generous and varied breakfast buffet (also for early birds and late risers) provides many delicious reasons to rise and shine. At lunch and dinner, guests serve themselves at the buffet. Gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes, children's meals, organic food, halal food, lactose-free food and vegan food can be prepared on request. The resort also offers snacks. The show cooking is a particularly special attraction. The drinks menu includes a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as international brands.

    Good:Food variety, Quality & ChoiceWaterpark excellent Fairground not bad for a young kidStaff pleasant, attentive and engagingPool is huge and never fought for a sun bed-huge plusCould be better:Scheduling/timings were just awful! I felt like I was back in work running for what opens and closes when. No food 16.00-18.30 and 2100-0000 unless you like tiny posh cakes. We missed this day one and had a child starving at 4pm. Also came home after a trip and Wed missed dinner and not a scrap of food for a kid. Poor in a supposed 5* AI.This is the worst point!Water park great, but again 10-12 then 14-17 why not leave it open it’s so annoying managing your holiday by your watch. Walls are very thin and if a sensitive sleeper it’s an issue.I’m not a big far of Turkey in general as a destination, but Lara beach has changed my view. Hotel was good value, staff were really good with children and loved the 20 min transfer from airport. Would visit again. Lots of hotels in the area all within walking on this strip.

    Royal Wings Hotel presents a mixed experience, with certain aspects deserving praise, while others raise serious concerns.On the positive side, the housekeeping staff—particularly the Indonesian women—were exceptionally warm, attentive, and professional. Their willingness to go above and beyond did not go unnoticed and stands out as one of the hotel’s strongest attributes. The hotel itself is clean, spacious, and well-equipped, offering amenities such as a fairground and water slides, which are especially appealing for families. The availability of food huts serving items like pizza, jacket potatoes, doner kebabs, and ice cream is a convenient feature. However, the inconsistent operating hours of these outlets are poorly planned; some closing as early as 3pm is highly impractical, particularly for families with children who may require flexible meal options throughout the day.Unfortunately, the negative aspects are significant and difficult to overlook. As a Muslim woman who wears a hijab, I experienced what appeared to be dismissive and discriminatory behavior from some of the Turkish male staff. Initially, I considered whether this might be a cultural form of respect directed toward my husband, but repeated incidents suggested otherwise. On multiple occasions, I was overlooked while others—specifically white guests—were served promptly. For example, at the pool, a waiter consistently took orders from other guests while ignoring mine. On another occasion, my order was taken but never delivered, while others received theirs without issue. During breakfast, when seated alone due to caring for my child, staff failed to approach me for even basic service such as drink orders. These patterns of behavior are deeply concerning and cannot be easily dismissed as coincidence.Additionally, it is worth noting that the hotel’s guest demographic is predominantly Russian and German, which may influence the overall atmosphere and service dynamics.In summary, while the hotel offers good facilities and has some excellent staff members, the inconsistencies in service and the perceived discriminatory treatment significantly detract from the overall experience.

    Great customer service & multiple services available to fit your wellness needs

    First of all I would like to thank Ayhan from Tuana Spa & Wellness. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and were given a tour of the facilities and an overview of the amenities. This was my first time in Turkey, so you know we had to take advantage that they offered great pricing for their services. The facilities were kept very clean (restroom, locker room, sauna & showers). There was water and tea readily available & majority spoke good English. I got to experience my first Turkish Bath w/ body scrub & foam massage (10/10 experience). We followed that with a Facial & Tea in the private lounge. Once that was finished we got a 90minute Full Body Massage. We left feeling so relaxed, I booked several more services for the rest of my stay at the Royal Wings Hotel Lara. I highly recommend anyone staying at the resort to make an appointment, money well spent! To summarize my experience staff were extremely friendly & professional, & the facilities were very well maintained.
