The location is superb and the negative reviews are mostly true unfortunately. The hotel needs a good deep clean everywhere.... it is a hotel capable of so much potential yet sadly the lack of investment shows. I would advise that you take dettol wipes and hand sanitizer as well as electrolytes in case of a bad stomach. The lovely maid cleaned our room everyday, and gave 2 towels, no face flannel… The location is superb and the negative reviews are mostly true unfortunately. We had a lovely stay as our first holiday together as a couple, great atmosphere, the most friendliest staff who always work hard and never stop working to try get you up and doing activities, we enjoyed every minute of it and made some very fond memories! A very average review and definitely not 5 star, very dated and needs a proper paint and restoration. Food was probably the worst as it was the same every single day, chicken, beef or turkey and if your gluten free it’s worse as they have no options and have to prepare separately (they did this no problem but same food choice). Very nice friendly hotel everyone made us very welcome. They couldn’t do enough for us. The room we were in was clean tidy & spacious. Hotel definitely not 5 star but was ok, the food was cold & pretty much the same every day & night, staff all lovely, the spa defo 5 stars & worth every penny & was the cleanest place in there.
