We visited during off season, so this resort is a bit rough around the edges with some unsightly constructions and noises going on. Still, we enjoyed it enormously, especially for the poolside room. The kids loved visiting the other families via the pool. The beach is not as nice and clean as Sunrise on the other side, but offers enough snorkeling options even for young children. We stayed in the Akira Lipe Resort for 5 nights. It is our first time in Koh Lipe. It is an excellent place. Location is very convenient, close to the inmigration point but far enough that you hardly notice is there while you enjoy the beach. Hotel with low expectation. The workers were not very friendly. Only some of them. The room was ok. Nice. But lot of mosquitoes. The Air condition was making some noise. The worst: WIFI.
