The resort is set on the beautiful island, Koh Yao Yai, surrounded by the sparkling Andaman Sea. It is located about midway between Phuket and Krabi. It is only a 20-minute drive from the Phuket International Airport to the famous boat lagoon marina, where the resort pier is located. From there, a speedboat brings guests directly to the resort beach in about 30 minutes.

The property includes 44 villas/houses as well as 44 rooms. English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand, a TV room and a playroom. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car. Air conditioning and a fan ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can relax and enjoy the sea views from the balcony or private terrace of some rooms. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Children's beds and extra beds can be requested for younger guests. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a CD player, a DVD player and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. A hairdryer, bathrobes and a telephone are available for daily use. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. The complex has non-smoking rooms.

The indoor and outdoor pools are ideal for exercise as well as relaxation (for a fee). A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. Refreshing drinks are served at the poolside snack bar. The resort offers an extensive outdoor sports programme, including cycling/mountain biking, beach volleyball, volleyball and fishing. With motorboat rides, canoeing, kayaking, snorkelling and diving available, fans of water sports will have plenty to choose from. Guests can enjoy a wide range of indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, badminton, billiards, darts, yoga and aerobics. Various wellness options are available at the resort, including a spa, a sauna, a beauty salon, massage treatments and a solarium.

Dining facilities include a dining room, a café and a bar. Guests can indulge their palates at the non-smoking restaurant, which features air conditioning and a separate area for smokers. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board and full board. A continental breakfast gives guests many delicious reasons to rise and shine. At lunch and dinner, guests can order à la carte or choose a set menu. Staff are also happy to provide children's meals.

    Beautiful hotel at an amazing beach with a stunning sunset. Restaurant, Bar, Pool,… all perfect. Very family friendly, with a playground (next to the bar 😉), free Billiards, table soccer, toys to borrow, Kajaks, badminton, it’s all there. Breakfast is very good as well, Western, Chinese and local food. Restaurant is also good. They have kids meals and a good menue for everyone.The best is the beach and the sea. My boy went snorkeling in the bay with me and got addicted, we went two times the day.We loved it and we will come back, for sure. Thank you Elixir team, we enjoyed our stay. CNN

    Amazing place to stay- very much paradise!It is quite far from the pier and there’s not a lot around the accommodation. Tool about 40 mins to get to via car. However we ate at the resort which was lovely.Breakfast is great lots of choice and fresh.Beach front views, lovely white sand and blue water. Lots of sealifeStaff are very niceThe rooms are lovely however the nightlife from nature is loud so sleep is tricky!Outdoor showers are nice - watch for wasps!The pool side is nice but the pool does need cleaning and retiling.The hotel and gardens are very clean Massage very reasonable and professional- Thai is not relaxing at all but definitely thorough! Tiki bar is lovely for sunset drinks and happy hourPool table, table football and kids play area is goodNo need to pay until the end for all items which was great as no need to carry cash with you

    I came at the resort as a walk in customer. The personnel of the Reception was absolutely amazing. By chance they had a room available so they had to change rooms during my stay, but all of that was so effortless and so professionally run that it was no pain. The whole staff is really nice, professional, friendly discrete, just perfect and the location is amazing in a quiet secluded spot.

    Beautiful resort, food and staff. Not worth upgrade to villa 114! Too many sun loungers blocked view and beach access

    We stayed at the beautiful elixir for five nights. The gardens are beautiful and well kept and the food was amazing.Most of the staff are very friendly and eager to please.We upgraded to a beachfront one bedroomed villa with pool and supposedly direct access to beach. Unfortunately this isn't quite true as where our villa was situated meant everyone pulled a sun loungers and sat right between our villa and the beach. 11 in total on a couple of our five night stay. This was very disappointing as it cost an extra £700 Would highly recommend NOT staying in room 114 Elixir Koh Yao Yai, General Manager at Elixir Koh Yao Yai, responded to this review Dear Waltuk,Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback and for choosing to stay with us for five nights.
