I was toying between rating 4 or 5 and after some thought went for 5, so why? We were in Thailand for nearly 2 weeks over Christmas and New Year, spending most of our time in Bangkok. THIS IS NOT A NO SMOKING HOTEL
Been here twice before and loved it. But this last time it’s changed and feels like it’s been taken over by one nationality. It’s meant to be ‘No Smoking’ but with no smoking signs around the pool area people smoke with kids there too! In your room on the balcony rooms next door smoke too. Be aware: 98% are russians
The hotel is exclusively for Russians, staff doesn’t speak English and not very helpful, they try to speak Russian to you. Internet doesn’t work, breakfast you’ll fight with Russians for food and at the beach you’ll never ever get a chance to take a place as from the morning Russians run to reserve a place, leave their belongings there for the whole day so no one takes it.
