We stayed as a couple in May 2026 at Hana Resort on Koh Tao – and honestly, it was a huge disappointment.The room was in very poor condition. Not Beachfront, Good Staff but Not Worth the Price
The resort is not beachfront, which is a bit disappointing for the price. The staff are very nice and welcoming, and the breakfast team is also friendly, which is a plus.However, the rooms are just okay and don’t really feel worth ฿2500-3000 per night. On arrival, things looked very promising, but looking back, things were pretty poor. The service of the rooms was poor, no fresh beach towels every day as promised, they never restocked the fridge or the tea and coffee. This “resort” is below the lowest possible. Not what expected.Pool is tiny, rooms are small and not equipped. They put a wc in a shower cabin? Enjoyed Koh Tao, would not boom The Tarna again.
Me and my husband spend 8 nights at The Tarna Resort Koh Tao. We were looking forward to this trip because we had a great experience with the same hotel 6 years ago. The staff was really nice, rooms were great and the location is excellent.
