I have stayed at Northgate Ratchayothin so many times, but this time will be the last. Firstly, as i mentioned above i have stayed here so many times since COVID lockdown since i don’t have to work at the office everyday. Last year, the hotel has a promotion, stay 5 nights get 1 night free and I accumulated to get 1 free night in the last year. However, i didn’t have a chance to redeem it yet. So, i was looking forward to do it this time. But, the hotel change the condition to stay 10 nights to get 1 night free and i can’t redeem my reward (i have to stay 4 nights more). In my opinion, it’s my call when to redeem the prize. Because, i’ve been eligible for it already. In case the hotel wants to change the condition, at least should notify the customer but disappointedly, there is none. Second, you might know that the hotel provides Tuktuk to transfer to BTS. This time i asked for Tuktuk at the reception and they informed me that it’s scheduled every 15 mins and unluckily the next round is fully booked. From my view, this is nonsense, Tuktuk can carry just about 4 people per round. If the hotel want to schedule, they should provide a sufficient service especially during rush hour, mostly guests want to take Tuktuk during rush hour in the morning, but only 4 seats available. That means most of the guests cannot access the service even though all guests pay at the same rate.So, someone’s 1,xxx BHT doesn’t equal to another’s? This is unfair and unacceptable for me.All in all, let this be my last goodbye.

Budget hotel and it shows, rooms are clean, we had a studio room with kitchenette, no plates, cutlery, kettle, mugs, tea and coffee, large fridge, beds are very very hard, good wardrobe space.Breakfast.. ALL food was cold apart from the toast which is only because you do it yourself, the cafe is not open the rest of the day, cafe's and restaurants 5 minutes walk in an area called The Avenue.An overnight stay is all this hotel is good for

We stayed as a couple on this hotel for 16 nights and it was absolutely worth the price.If you’re ok with some commute to different attractions, then this hotel is absolutely worth a visit! The dishonesty of the hotel reception.Read carefully before signing the check-in contract otherwise, you will be fooled !!I had a very unpleasant experience with this hotel: I was given a non-smoking room, with an open-air terrace and a clear view. The next day I received a 50 euros fine because I smoked on the open-air terrace. When speaking with the receptionist, I realized that I had already signed the check-in paper with them which indicates that I am not allowed to smoke all over the floor, without my knowing it and none of the receptionists mentioned it (to confirm their real intentions). I know I should have read the paper in detail before signing but this is the first time I've been tricked by a hotel! I have traveled to many countries and this is the first time I have experienced this scam..Throughout our trip the Thais were warm and super nice, unfortunately, the workers in this hotel were not among them. They only want to scrape more money and scam their customers. Well done!Other points to note:- The photos of the swimming pool are misleading: it is a tiny old roof top swimming pool with 3 sunbeds- Cockroaches in the room, it's great for a 4-star...- Bed was horrible and hard- No convenience store nearby- Not a great location, far from everything- Very poor soundproofing: you can hear other rooms opening and closing doors all the time. Stayed here for a couple of days with my wife and children. Staff went above and beyond. They were ever so kind and professional in their jobs. They all gave me the feeling that they took great pride in their jobs. The hotel is located on Th. Ratchadaphisek, about 10 minutes of walking from BTS Ratchayothin and the Major Cineplex with the same name. The hotel offers a free tuk ruk to the BTS station between 09:00 and 18:00 hrs. It can be reached by car conveniently as well. Opposite the hotel there are a couple of very good restaurants. Central districts of Bangkok can be reached in about 45 - 60 minutes. Breakfast in the hotel is good. There’s a rooftop pool on the top floor as well as a tennis court. We stayed in the two bedroom suite, with two adults and two young children.
