    Great stay

    rating06 Jun 2026

This is the 2nd time to stay at this hotel. We stayed 4 nights. Room size is good with sofa area. Free drinks and snacks which are good especially if you don’t want to go out during hot or rainy weather. Bedside with electric plugs. But if it can improved with USB or Type-C plug with be great.Though hotel is not in the very prime area, free shuttle service available to/from Thong Lor station. (But the tuk tuk step is a bit high, not easy to get on/off😅) Somkiat Somporn, Marketing at Grande Centre Point Sukhumvit 55, responded to this review Dear Valued Guest,Thank you very much for your detailed review and for choosing to stay with us again. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your four-night stay and appreciated our spacious room layout, comfortable sofa area, complimentary minibar refreshments, and convenient bedside power outlets. It’s wonderful to know that these features added comfort and convenience to your stay, especially during Bangkok’s hot and rainy weather. We also appreciate your suggestion regarding the addition of USB and Type-C charging ports. Guest feedback like yours is extremely valuable and will be shared with our management team for future consideration as we continue to enhance our guest experience. We’re pleased that you found our complimentary shuttle service to and from Thong Lo BTS Station helpful. At the same time, we appreciate your comments regarding the height of the shuttle vehicle step. We understand that ease of access is important, and your feedback will be shared with the relevant team for review. We look forward to welcoming you back for another enjoyable stay in the near future.Grande Regards,Pavornkamol S. Beautiful property, poor location and service

    rating13 Feb 2026

This is a DRY hotel—a fact that was never disclosed prior to my arrival. To be clear, I'm not a partier; after a long travel day, I simply wanted a glass of wine with dinner, a reasonable expectation at most hotels. Surprisingly, the immediate area consists largely of sushi bars, and the concierge staff struggled to recommend a nearby restaurant serving simple Thai staples like curry with wine—items I'd easily found even in remote corners of Thailand. Their suggestions sent me on multiple treks in the heat across the relentless traffic of Sukhumvit Road. I'm grateful to the hotel staffer who bravely served as crossing guard, helping me navigate the chaos several times. Eventually, I gave up, purchased wine from a grocery store, and ordered what turned out to be a disappointing green curry from room service. Adding insult to injury, the hotel charged 100 baht for a bucket of ice—a stingy touch for a five star property. On the positive side, the hotel is undeniably beautiful and immaculate, and the Japanese toilets throughout are a genuine delight. I also appreciated the all-day coffee service in the lobby. However, the combination of the undisclosed alcohol policy, unhelpful dining guidance, and nickel-and-diming over ice left me feeling this hotel doesn't quite deliver the seamless experience one expects from a luxury property in Bangkok. Somkiat Somporn, Marketing at Grande Centre Point Sukhumvit 55, responded to this review Dear Valued Guest,Thank you very much for taking the time to share such detailed feedback about your stay. We sincerely appreciate your honest perspective and regret that certain aspects of your experience did not meet the expectations of a five-star property. We truly apologize for the lack of clear communication regarding our alcohol policy prior to your arrival. We understand how disappointing it can be to want a simple glass of wine after a long journey, and we agree that this information should be made more transparent. Your comments have been shared with our management team to review how we can better communicate this in advance. We’re also sorry that our dining recommendations and concierge assistance did not provide the seamless guidance you were hoping for. This is certainly not the level of service we strive to deliver, and your feedback will be used to further train our team to offer clearer, more practical options for guests seeking local cuisine and dining preferences.Regarding the charge for ice, we understand your concern and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We will review this practice internally to ensure it aligns with guest expectations and overall service standards. On a positive note, we’re pleased to hear that you found the property beautiful and immaculate, enjoyed the Japanese-style toilets, and appreciated the all-day coffee service in the lobby. Your kind acknowledgment of our staff member who assisted you with crossing the road is also greatly appreciated and will be shared with the team.Thank you again for your valuable feedback. While we regret the shortcomings you experienced, we truly appreciate the opportunity to learn and improve, and we hope to have the chance to welcome you back in the future for a more seamless and satisfying stay.Grande Regards,Pavornkamol S. Beautiful hotel but falls short of true 5‑star standards

    rating08 Feb 2026

I recently stayed at Grande Centre Point Sukhumvit 55 and while the hotel is visually stunning and exceptionally clean, the overall experience didn’t quite match the expectations of a 5‑star property.Spa & OnsenThe spa is one of the highlights. The onsen area is beautifully designed, though Western travellers should be aware that traditional onsen customs apply — no swimwear is permitted. My first treatment, a 90‑minute aroma oil massage, was outstanding: professional, seamless, and genuinely one of the best massages I’ve had. Unfortunately, the second treatment (a 90‑minute hot oil massage) was noticeably less consistent despite being more expensive.ServiceService around the 5th‑floor pool and seating area was surprisingly poor. Despite plenty of staff visible throughout the hotel, it was difficult to find anyone to take an order, and once placed, food and drinks often took over 30 minutes to arrive. This really detracted from what should have been a relaxing space.Alcohol PolicyOne important detail that was not communicated at booking or check‑in is that the hotel is completely alcohol‑free. There is no bar on-site, which felt unexpected for a hotel marketed as 5‑star. Clear communication beforehand would have helped manage expectations. Thankfully, there is a charming Japanese bar directly across the road with fantastic staff and great snacks.OverallWhile the hotel is spotless and aesthetically impressive, it doesn’t deliver the level of service, amenities, or communication expected from a 5‑star hotel at this price point. With more transparency and more consistent service, it could offer a much stronger guest experience. Somkiat Somporn, Marketing at Grande Centre Point Sukhumvit 55, responded to this review Dear deljade17,Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a detailed and thoughtful review of your stay at Grande Centre Point Sukhumvit 55. We truly appreciate your candid feedback and are grateful that you highlighted both the strengths of your experience and the areas where we fell short of your expectations. We’re pleased to hear that you found the hotel visually stunning, exceptionally clean, and that you enjoyed the spa and onsen facilities. Your kind words about the aroma oil massage are especially appreciated, and we regret to learn that your second treatment did not provide the same level of consistency or satisfaction. Your comments will be shared with our spa management team to ensure service quality remains consistently high.We sincerely apologize for the disappointing service you experienced around the pool and seating area. Long waiting times and difficulty in receiving service are certainly not acceptable, and this feedback will be addressed with the relevant team to improve responsiveness and guest care in that area.Regarding our alcohol-free policy, we appreciate you bringing up the importance of clearer communication. We understand how unexpected this may have felt, and your suggestion will be taken into consideration to ensure future guests are better informed prior to arrival. While we regret that your overall experience did not fully meet your expectations of a 5-star stay, we are grateful for your constructive insights. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us refine our services and guest communication. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future and provide a more consistent and elevated experience.Grande Regards,Pavornkamol S. (Ms.) Front Office Manager

    Amazing!

We recently stayed at the Grande Centre Point Lumpini in Bangkok, a five-star hotel that sits slightly outside the very center of the city. This location is actually ideal if you’re coming from the airport, as it saves you from diving straight into the busiest parts of Bangkok. With the metro lines nearby, getting around is a breeze despite the usual city traffic. The hotel is well-situated near two large parks, including the lovely new Lumpini Park, which offers a pleasant three-kilometer circular walking route. The hotel itself features spacious rooms with phenomenal views thanks to large floor-to-ceiling windows, reaching up to 60 floors high for an incredible skyline experience.Amenities are plentiful and well-maintained: there’s a lovely pool, a spa, a gaming room with PlayStations, a board game area, a ballroom, and a large, well-air-conditioned reception area with a cozy bar serving fresh teas and juices. The overall atmosphere is quite luxurious without being overpriced, making the value for money truly excellent.Service is top-notch: the staff are extremely friendly, the concierge is efficient, and the beds are absolutely fantastic—huge, comfortable, and the rooms are impeccably clean. The water pressure is great, the Wi-Fi is excellent, and if you need a taxi or a tuk-tuk, the reception will handle it for you so you don’t have to step outside. Overall, it’s a highly recommended hotel that delivers a fantastic experience. Somkiat Somporn, Marketing at Grande Centre Point Sukhumvit 55, responded to this review Dear Valued Guest,Thank you once again for taking the time to share such an amazing review of your stay at Grande Centre Point Lumphini. We are truly honored by your kind words and delighted to know that your experience exceeded expectations. It is wonderful to hear that you enjoyed our location near Lumpini Park, the easy access to transportation, and the peaceful balance of being slightly away from the busiest areas while still remaining well connected. We are also pleased that our spacious rooms, breathtaking floor-to-ceiling views, and wide range of facilities from the pool and spa to the gaming and relaxation areas—added to the enjoyment of your stay.Your compliments regarding our service, cleanliness, comfort of the beds, and overall value are deeply appreciated and will be shared with our team as great encouragement. Providing a seamless, comfortable, and memorable experience for our guests is always our top priority.Thank you for your strong recommendation. We very much look forward to welcoming you back to Grande Centre Point Lumphini on your next visit to Bangkok for yet another outstanding stay.Team ManagementGrande Centre Point

Do not book a room at this hotel at all; there are a lot of scams here. A simple glass broke, and they charged 75 baht, which is about 200 rupees. And Indians should definitely avoid this place; there are many problems for Indians, especially with breakfast. Somkiat Somporn, Marketing at Grande Centre Point Sukhumvit 55, responded to this review Dear Valued Guest,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations and that you felt dissatisfied during your stay.Regarding the charge for the broken glass, please allow us to clarify that such charges are standard practice in many hotels and are intended only to cover replacement costs, not to inconvenience guests. That said, we regret if this was not communicated clearly and caused frustration. We are especially concerned by your comments about feeling uncomfortable as an Indian guest, particularly in relation to breakfast. Please accept our sincere apologies if you felt treated unfairly or unwelcome in any way. This is certainly not the experience we aim to provide. We welcome guests of all nationalities equally, and your feedback will be shared with our management team so we can carefully review and address this matter. We appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention, as they help us identify areas where we must improve. Should you wish to discuss your experience further, we would welcome the opportunity to do so and better understand your concerns.Grande Regards,Pavornkamol S. (Ms.) Front Office Manager
