Location in great right in front of the lake. Walking distance to center and a bus right by hotel entrance. Junior suite room was very large, bed was comfortable, sofa bed (a third bed) was very uncomfortable. Breakfast could be richer with some more options. The location right on Lake Lugano was spectacular, and the gentleman hotel manager and the rest of the staff excellent. They went well out of their way to ensure our comfort and convenience. The single elevator was quite small, and had to take very many trips to accommodate our tour group. There were some minor maintenance issues in the room, including a broken makeup mirror which was unusable. Right from our arrival at reception, we were given a warm welcome - staff continued to be friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, bright and comfortable with a balcony giving us a partial view of the lake. Also the bathroom was lovely and lots of hot water.
