Stayed here just for 1 night before heading to Paris. Check in was smooth. Room is clean and large for Swiss standards with a great view of the lake. Location is great with many restaurants nearby.The hotel is a 10 CHF uber away from the main Lausanne train station. The hotel is very well located, just a few steps from the metro station and close to the lake. The check-in was a breeze, we were given all necessary information. Our room was modern, spacious, clean and comfortable. Our request for new pillows was taken care of immediately. Breakfast was great with the variety beyond believe. Without proximity with IMD, nobody would stay here.I spent a week at this hotel, the only one close to IMD, quite disappointing.Room was too warm (no way to reduce temperature) and dirty.Definitely overpriced.Pity there are no alternatives. I've been staying at this hotel once a year for the past few years. I see that things have deteriorated. While the view (if you have a Lakeview room) and the location are great, the rooms have technical issues and the service is not good enough to compensate.
