Disappointing, overpriced and run down
Overpriced and not up to date. The food is bland and the amenities in the rooms (fridge, toilet etc) are either ancient, stained or not working. The staff seem unengaged and the place is understaffed - the waiters are newbies and / or stressed. This Swiss historic hotel is a beautiful grand dame with some needs for a touch of make-up here and there but majestic nonetheless. We celebrated our Wedding anniversary in this historical hotel. The view to the alps from the room, restaurant, bar and the swimming pool is just amazing! Great views, outdated hotel
Fantastic location with terrific views. Absolutely extraordinary location. The hotel has seen better times. While the rooms are spacious, the furniture is outdated. The meeting rooms smell chlorine from the neighboring pool, service level is substandard.
