The hotel was built in 1861. 180 rooms and 12 suites are located on 6 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service are available. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. We're for 2 nights with our kids (19/16). The terrace is fantastic; staff is so friendly and they try their best. We had a bit of an issue with the check-in time when being assigned our rooms, but the person in charge later sent an apology note along with a nice touch. Much appreciated! We'll definitely be back! This stay did not meet our expectations.The property is beautiful and the location is unmatched. Unfortunately, that is where the positives end.First, we arrived around 14:15. At the door, the bellman insisted on us giving him our luggage even though we tried not to. He assured us he would take the bags straight up to our room.
