Convenient hotel for out stay to visit the Christmas markets. Ideal having the trams and the main train station just outside the hotel. Travel on the trams is free and we were given a card by the hotel reception to confirm this. Nice older hotel with great location

We stayed two days as an extension before our river cruise with friends. An architecturally interesting older hotel (named after a famous locally born scientist) but with nice upgrades and amenities. The bathroom was updated with nice fixtures, the bedding was new and very comfortable, and I appreciated the in-room espresso. We were on the fourth floor and it was quiet. We were welcomed by a lovely, helpful guy on reception and were able to check into our room early. Fantastic location but very quiet ( if you dont open the window!) . The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable, the carpet and furnishings however, could do with a freshen up.Breakfast was amazing !!! Recommend ! Brilliant from start to finish.Receptionist on arrival was very helpful.Room was quiet, comfortable.Breakfast was great more than enough choice. Perfect location for the station and all the trams which we made full use of with the guest card issued by the hotel. We were in a deluxe room which I would say was a little on the small side and probably due an update.
