Usually Scandic hotels are a first option for us when we travel in the Nordics, however this hotel was so terrible. The room was not properly cleaned upon check-in, there was a snus dosa next to the bed. When mentioned to reception they just apologized and would send someone to clean. When we returned they still didn’t clean the room, the snus was still at the same place and they didn’t empty the trash bin in the bathroom. Our last night the cleaner hade taken our room card from the roomcard holder. Very strange. They did not leave it at the desk in the room. We informed reception to get new cards because it was strange behavior and we were afraid they would use the card to enter our room. Receptionists also thought it was odd to take the card, however tried to cover it up. The hotel need total renovation, hallways too dirty. Hotel had Serviss works and it was noisy and restaurant was closed because of that. Staff was very friendly.
