  This is a curious hotel. It claims 4 stars but is more of a functional transient business hotel run with minimum staff and an aversion to the cost of maintenance. The appearance looks a first modern minimalist which is good. However, on closer inspection, the signs of lack of investment begin to show. The hotel is situated in a very open space surrounded on one side by a container truck holding point and on the other by a currently closed (almost abandoned commercial shopping centre). It was like it had been placed in a wind tunnel and the strength and speed of the wind had to be felt to be believed. The reception was fine and the staff friendly and professional. We had two rooms to cater for 2 parents and 2 adolescents. We had to get instruction on using the air conditioner which functioned in just one room. On request a member of staff came to the room and, after accepting the airconditioner did not work, suggested we leave a window open. Remember the wind and this is a 4 star hotel. She then suggested we move to a new room which was fine. A storm raged all night so we were glad of the closed windows. The rooms appeared clean but lacked maintenance. In the new room, the bathroom shaving light did not work. All the wood at the base of the bathroom appeared damaged from water. The breakfast the following morning was okay but not with extensive choice (to the disappointment of the kids). My rule of thumb for good breakfast is always the coffee and this one, from a machine, was only lower than average coffee. On checkout, we discovered that we were required to pay for two breakfast as, according to the staff, the default Booking.com system does not automatically assume a breakfast with the second room when you book for four event though the order criteria stated breakfast included. Overall, the hotel was fine, not cheap, slept alright, ate okay and we moved on. Todo el personal del Hotel Plaza Feria, está muy concienciado a asegurar a nuestros clientes una estancia muy satisfactoria. Con respecto a su reserva, y comprobado con nuestro servicio de mantenimiento, las dos habitaciones estaban completamente acondicionadas y con sus servicios de aire acondicionado funcionando de forma correcta. Si es verdad que en una habitación se escuchaba más fuerte la salida del caudal de aire. Desde el departamento de recepción y para su tranquilidad se informó de la temperatura exterior y se ¨indicó ¨que podían tener la ventana abierta porque por las horas que eran ya no sería necesario el aire acondicionado en la habitación. La persona que les atendió fantásticamente, decidió que para su mejor estancia sería bueno asignarles otra habitación donde ustedes escucharan la salida de aire acondicionado. Siento su apreciación sobre le mantenimiento de la habitación y tomamos nota para poder conseguir el 100% de apreciaciones positivas. Con respecto al desayuno, en los hoteles Sercotel en España ( en torno a 80 hoteles ) , se trabaja con esta máquina de café de una marca de reconocido prestigio nacional. Si que tomamos nota para reforzar el desayuno de los niños-adolescentes.La reserva la hicieron ustedes por booking.com y una habitación la reservaron con desayuno y la otra habitación no.   Stayed in the hotel, due to the secure lorry park, which is where we parked. Yes you can hear the noise from the fridges, if you are that side of the hotel but was a very clean tidy and quiet hotel. Easier walk to the repsol garage, McDonald’s , Burger King and a supermarket is within 10 minutes walk. Shame the shopping centre is all shut down.The room were very good and the bathroom was good. Had everything you need. Staff speak good English, if you spain is rubbish like mine.

  Ideal stopover between Bilbao and Costa Blanca. Friendly staff. Very comfortable bed. Cleanliness excellent. Good breakfast.Niggles ? Light pollution around the curtains from the lorry park floodlights. Reading lamps broken, so not enough light to read by. No riser rail for the shower head so no good for shorter people (ladies?) who don't want to get their hair wet when showering. No safety grab rail to get out of the bath.

  Great value rooms and high quality meals

  Location was ideal for us in transit, but not the best place for a visit to the city. The area around the hotel is safe but not attractive. Free parking at the hotel. Our room was spacious, modern and clean. Wifi good. Included breakfast served (due to Covid) from a buffet selection, with eggs and other hot items to order. We had tasty tapas in the cafeteria at lunchtime. The evening menu in the restaurant (under 13e for 3 courses and a drink) featured high quality ingredients, very well prepared and presented. Drinks were also attractively priced. Decor is business/functional but the food exceeded our expectations. We would definitely return.

  A nice place to stop for the night

  We stayed her for one night with friends en route from France to Murcia. It was easy to find and plenty of free parking a real bonus.It’s quite near a huge shopping plaza so another good point for the girls. The receptionist was really helpful and everything look fresh, modern and clean. The rooms didn’t disappoint either, very spacious with a TV. The beds were clean and comfortable and the showers were perfect.We had a fabulous meal in the restaurant and it was a great price at just over 12€ with wine, it really was delicious, we were all impressed.After a golds nights sleep, we had coffee and croissant in the bar, the set breakfast looked really good if you were hungry.Checkout was quick and simple, we would definitely stop there again.......
