Wonderful staff, ice cold air-conditioning that runs all day, whether you are in the room or not, comfortable, perfect location, and great spirit. We loved our stay in Valladolid, and the hotel staff, especially Roberto, was a big part of this. He had GREAT recommendations for local tapas, and off-the-beaten-path places to see art. The hotel is very characterful on the inside; very calm and relaxing. What makes it truly special however are the staff who couldn't have done more to make our visit special. Great Hotel! The staff at the front desk were exceptionally friendly, and the bed was remarkably comfortable. The air conditioning took a bit long to cool down the room. I like to stop in Valladolid en route to the costas as it’s a beautiful city. I chose this hotel for a night, because the last one I used to stay at ( the Colon Plaza) has gone right down hill and therefore has lost my custom.The reception area is as previous reviews have stated, absolutely gorgeous.
