Overnight stop enroute from the Ferry, chosen for ease of access, parking and pet friendly! The hotel is quirky but has seen better days....the location is just off the major roads, easy to access, not much going on around it! The staff were reasonably friendly, (no English) but some confusions with our booking which took time to resolve. We stayed here overnight on the way from Santander to Portugal and enjoyed a pleasant night’s stay. The air conditioned room was ample and well equipped. We were served a meal of cheese salad followed by salmon and with tiramisu to follow. There was pork loin available too. Awful. Archaic hotel. Pillows hard rocks. Nice size suite but archaic. The food was not good. Service was hit and miss. WE stayed here overnight on our travels through Spain in August 2022 and had a lovely stay. The hotel is beautiful, peaceful, well appointed and spotlessly clean. We had a buffet style breakfast with fruit, pastries, cooked goods, hot drinks, etc. Very tasty. We had an evening meal in the restaurant and had a 3 course meal with a bottle of wine and a bottle of water for 16 euros each.
