We had a great break here on our Spain Roadtrip. Luxurious spa and overall surroundings. We also rented the private section of the spa. It’s not cheap at 290, but an experience worth having. Fantastic stay at the Castilla Termal Monasterio! I just wish we could have stayed longer. I would definitely recommend it to anyone in the area. Yes, a bit expensive but not for the level of service. And the breakfast, OH MY! What a wonderful treat from beginning to end. The pools are fabulous. Everything about the stay was fabulous. The setting is idyllic, and the building is wonderful. The hotel service is great. The hot springs and pool were very enjoyable. However, the rooms and the breakfast do not reflect what you pay. So definitely not value for money. There are so many wonderful hotels in the area that I am surprised they can charge such high prices for what is provided. Everything was phenomenal and I only wish I had more time to stay here. The public space was beautiful and the way they were able to preserve the character while still feeling authentic was beautifully done.
