Grubby, and well past its ‘Best By’ date. And if you like tea this better bring your own tea bags ??

    rating26 Sept 2025

In its heyday this could have been a very nice and trendy place to stay BUT it’s now run down, feeling grubby, and in dire need of lots of maintenance. We were 3 couples in 3 rooms. 2 rooms had plumbing issues, one had no water at all, one had water to the shower but the sink supply was VERY slow. The drains weren’t working correctly in our room and the shower door leaked like a sieve. We couldn’t open the safe in our room, neither could reception or the ‘maintenance’ man. At dinner the 3 who ordered steak had nice meals, the 3 who ordered fish (cod) sent them back because it wasn’t cooked, the replacements wasn’t cooked properly either so they didn’t get a main course at all. I thought cod should be white & flakey, not grey and unable to cut it with normal cutlery. Oh and to cap it all, the hotel has run out of breakfast tea, not one bag of breakfast tea in the place ??????The hotel bar is Closed, and the pool at closes at 19.00 so that the lady can help in the kitchen & dining room ??NOT a good experience at all ?? Hotel Manager, Owner at Hotel Spa Villa Nazules, responded to this review Dear Ian,Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback with us.We are pleased to read that you and your companions enjoyed the steak dishes at our restaurant. Our kitchen team is dedicated to preparing meals with quality ingredients, and we are glad this aspect of your visit stood out positively. However, we are sincerely sorry that some aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. Your comments about maintenance, including bathroom concerns and technical issues in your room, as well as the food and beverage experience, are very important to us. We always strive to provide a comfortable environment, and we are disappointed to learn that your experience in these areas was less than satisfactory. Concerning the hotel bar and pool hours, our goal is to balance guest needs with our service operations, and your observations will be carefully considered by our management team.We hope you will allow us the opportunity to host you again for a more enjoyable and seamless visit.Best wishes,Pablo Serrano, General Manager

Peaceful, welcoming and super dog friendly

As soon as we arrived we had a marvellous welcome, the dogs not to be forgotten being presented with a wee treat. The reception staff were fantastic so welcoming, friendly and helpful naturally. What really stood out was how dog friendly the hotel is. Our dogs received the BEST welcome we’ve ever seen, complete with treats, such a thoughtful touch. It was clear that everyone there genuinely loves dogs, which made us feel even more at ease. The housekeeping team were also incredibly lovely, always smiling, friendly and doing a great job without being intrusive. The room was brilliant, really spacious with a large bathroom, super comfortable bed and pillows. Nice option for outside of Toledo

    rating01 May 2025

This hotel sits in a tranquil location about 20 minutes outside of the historical town of Toledo. A good option if you'd rather not stay in the city itself. Rooms and bathrooms are clean, breakfasts is offered between 8am and 11am, buffet, and you can have dinner in the restaurant or bar. The restaurant food was good, the burger in the bar very dry.Lovely service, friendly staff. The hotel also has a spa. Hotel Manager, Owner at Hotel Spa Villa Nazules, responded to this review Dear Brooke, We would like to thank you for taking the time to leave this review about your recent visit. We are pleased that you appreciated our tranquil location, the pristine condition of our rooms, the comprehensive breakfast offerings, and the quality of our restaurant cuisine. It is always our aim to provide a serene retreat from the hustle and bustle, coupled with the comforts and amenities that make for a memorable stay. However, we regret to hear that the burger you ordered at the bar did not meet your expectations. Your comments affirm our dedication to hospitality. Our spa facilities are indeed a highlight, and we're glad you could enjoy them during your stay. We would also like to take this moment to highlight our hotel's serene setting amidst olive groves and fields, which provides a sense of calm and a connection to nature that many of our guests cherish. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future.Best regards,Pablo Serrano, General Manager

    Spanish trip

    rating20 Jan 2020

Lovely hotel which is in a remote area surrounded by olive trees and rabbits. Visited as a couple with a dog, who really enjoyed the surrounding walks. Heating, hot water and Air Con in the room was quite erratic, which resulted in us waking in the night extremely hot. Two lights in the room weren’t working but staff soon replaced one of them once we had brought it to their attention. Had meal in the evening which was delicious. Try the Wild Boar stew and Pork Loin...very good. Not so good were the freezing cold bread rolls and cold plates and dishes. Those final touches would have made a difference to the rating, as we were the only guests dining, indeed, possibly the only guests in the hotel. Breakfast was extremely disappointing, we were looking for a light cereal and toast, but were served huge bowls of kids chocolate cereal with hot milk which we couldn’t eat. Managed to get two eggs with tostada, which was just a warmed up bread roll and two stale buns. Make sure you specify breakfast on the booking as otherwise it will not be catered for. However, the situation of the hotel itself is very impressive.
