It's immaculately clean, comfortable and we both slept extremely well. The staff were attentive and friendly.Plenty of warm water for a good shower in the spacious bathroomIt's a dated hotel but has a nice charm about it. Good customer service but poor conditions. I placed a review before and it was taken down cause I said the sheets where dirty, not changed from the previous guests..... it was disgusting. I went alone and it s true that is not the best hotel. However price was worth and room was fair as well. I would say it s an average hotel . Recommended for simple stays. Don t expect luxury. Nice hotel and staff, but obviously suffering from economic decline
Local people have told me that Talavera is suffering a lot from economic downfall, after a period in which this city and Toledo were competing for the first position in the region. I think this may be the explanation for the situation in this hotel. The room in which I slept was nice but one wall was damaged (probably by large suitcases) and the bathroom door was squeaky.
