Wasps on the terrace are an issue

Lovely place but very busy. Outside dining ruined by wasps which staff seem to think is normal. The rooms are nice. It’s a 12 euro taxi to the cathedral. The only place to stay near Toledo.

The Parador is in a wonderful location overlooking the old town of Toledo. It’s too far to walk to the town but it’s easy to get a taxi for about €12. It’s a lovely hotel. The rooms are very well appointed and comfortable. There is also a nice pool and lawn for sunbathing. Breakfast is excellent as is the restaurant (see separate review). Fabulous hotel overlooking the city

We stayed here for three nights in June 2026. This parador is on a hill overlooking the city so we are a captive audience for food but we have great views and easy parking. Check in was wonderfully helpful - Ada was fabulous and should be sent to Cuenca to train some of the front desk staff there how to actually engage with customers.
