    This mountain-top retreat is located in a beautiful setting. The public areas are stunning and the hotel room was spacious and well appointed. The view from the restaurant made it worth taking the breakfast option.     We entered the town using a back road. I was very concerned at first, then we reached the Parador, and as we walked the hallways and great rooms, just mesmerizing. The restaurant area enjoys a great view of the valley below. Take the time to read all the informative cartels around.     The Parador and the town of Oropesa are a perfect stop on a self driving circuit of Central Spain. The secluded parking (not monitored) is a real asset. The town itself is charming.
