We booked this hotel hoping for a peaceful weekend as we are also attending a wedding in Toledo. It’s currently 28degrees on 27 September and the pool area is CLOSED. Apparently it closed earlier this season - we are hugely disappointed after hoping to sit by the pool for a day - in fact, we only booked this hotel because of the pool. The best thing about the hotel is the service from the always smiling staff and the pool area. From a 5 star hotel we would expect a bar service in the pool area. That can be improved. Another great think is there is a pool for children. It would be nice if the mothers used that pool with their babies. Could I suggest the hotel made rules about this? Stayed at this hotel for a night enroute from Santander to southern Spain . It was excellent from start to finish . Easy to find with great car parking a few minutes off the main route .
