The hotel sits on the summit of the Pui-Pinos Hill, at whose feet the city of Alcañiz extends, with its porticoes and narrow balcony-lined streets with mediaeval charms. There is a bus station about 500 m from the hotel. Alcañiz is 105 km from Zaragoza and 65 km from Morella.

Lovely traditional Parador in a hilltop castle setting

This Parador sits amongst the structure of the castle dominating the small town of Alcañiz. The whole experience is a delight. From start to finish a great experiance All staff Incredibly motivated to ensure your stay was perfect. Wonderful large, quiet room with a great view. Cafeteria and bar served snacks and light meals all day which was a bonus as you used to have to wait until 8.30 to get food. Breakfast was excellent. Will most certainly return one day . Having stayed at 4 Paradors this week, Lorca, Cuenca and siguenza, I was beginning to think that the Paradors had become just another dull hotel chain.
