The hotel looks attractive on the outside and has a nice, wood-panel entrance hall. The rooms, however, are another story. If mine was anything close to representative, the size is closer to a Japanese budget hotel than a modest European hotel (see pic). Fantastic hotel. The walk up is steep, but you can drive up, dump your bags and then drive down to park in the overnight parking for 4 euro. The hotel is gorgeous - build in the 1500s. The staff are very friendly and super helpful. There is a cafe area for all day coffee and cakes and you can get a drink here as well.
