  Well, there is some charm to this place I must be honest - the charm of the late 1980s - early 1990s, with an impressive (for that time) radio system in the room, and all the poshy-flashy things (for the time).   We stayed for 2 nights on unit 005. We were there on Sep 12-14 and the hotel already turned off the air-conditioned (only fan, not refrigerating), so we needed to open the window and this maintained the room temperature pleasant, we did not have any problem having the window opened, it was quiet, no mosquitos and it had a beautiful view.   This hotel is not as nice as the photos would have you believe. The atmosphere in the hotel is zero, the rooms and decor are all very aged and tired, the facilities are basic and the bar was all but closed with the single member of staff having to book us in and then run to the bar to serve us and that only had 3 large glasses!!
