Pool freezing cold. Food was pretty much the same all week, not enough variety, esoecially for children, including desserts. Childrens entertainment was poor. Inflatables are not inflatables its a foam mat laid across the pool. Not enough going on in hotel for children, several activities out away to quickly to realise they were happening. A short drive from Reus Airport.Very quick check in and as we were a group of 4 had rooms allocated next to each other.There is a tourist tax to pay less than £30 for the 4 of us.The rooms are on the snug side and a distinct lack of storage space, but are pleasant enough.The safe you have to pay for, The aircon is included. I found the hotel to be clean and some of the staff quite courteous. Bar Staff. This is a big let down for the hotel. Staff need training on serving drinks. Language barrier is a start. The queues at nighttime horrendous. Especially with the dreadful weather and everyone congregating in the entertainment area. I asked for an Irish coffee and the horrified look I got was laughable. Extremely poor service from Reception and Reservations.Our group was given a price when making the reservation, but when they arrived in Spain, they were suddenly told that they had to pay more. Spent 9 nights here. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful as are the bar and cafeteria staff. The restaurant wasn't so good staff rude and need training in customer service, only used restaurant twice for breakfast as only thing we wanted was cup of tea food was not good!!.
