Great Hotel and Location, Restaurant Could Be Better
Having visited this area many years ago, I was delighted to return and stay at the César Augustus. The location is superb, just a short walk from both Salou and Cambrils, with the beach right on the doorstep.Our room was spotless throughout our stay, and housekeeping maintained a very high standard. Not a good experience
Catered for spanish only, this was food and entertainment. Food awful, and cold, very small choice, mainly fish, some salad but nothing to put with it. Everything cooked in grease and oils.Can not take any drinks into restaurant, even if bought from onsite bar.restaurant staff very rude.Entertainment all in Spanish.Very hard to communicatedefinitely not value for money, we went half board but had… Catered for spanish only, this was food and entertainment. Good hotel
The hotel was very good. The staff were very friendly. The food was good, and a good selection but could have been hotter . We had a room at the back of the hotel where roadworks are being carried out, the machinery started up about 8 am which made it difficult to sleep. Beyond expectations!
We were looking for a hotel for two nights near the Sanguli campsite because family members were staying there. Since we booked late, this was the only available option in the area, although we found the price rather high—actually above our budget. But everything was perfect. Rooms not suitable for 4 people (2 adults and 2 teenagers). Mattresses were very hard. Breakfast was very monotonous.
