Only stayed 1 night as part of a coach tour.Very pleasant hotel with friendly staff.Even as a solo traveller I was given a lovely large double room, with a huge shower - more like a wet room. Fridge + tea/coffee making in room.Dinner was average - possibly because we were a group we had a set menu, but they did cater for vegetarians and allergies. The hotel is in a great location and the rooms are excellent. The furnishings are excellent and everything is very clean. The bar area is uninviting and looks like it is not a place to hang out or relax. The reception staff are functional but not warm or friendly.There is a lady who sits in the foyer who is not a hotel employee but she recommends restaurants. there was no free table for breakfast at 10 am on sunday, we waited. Two tables were vacated, cleaned up and Spanish guests who came after us, were assigned the tables and we were told to keep waiting. "Espera!" we wanted to complain to the reception, and the gentleman only gave us the tip to come earlier, as breakfast already started at 8 o'clock. The hotel is old as so the equipment. The staff is nice. Great location near the all touristic sites in Salamanca. It doesn't have parking spaces. The breakfast is average.
