I just returned from a 4 night stay, with a room overlooking La Plaza Mayor. The hotel staff was quite very and helpful. Rooms are simple, modern and very clean; a little on the small side but the views make up for the size! There's also a small minibar in the room. Perfect location steps from Plaza Mayor. My room was small but adequate for 1 person and wasn’t expensive. The only drawback was a mattress that was indented and should be rotated. Salamanca is a gorgeous little city. I would highly recommend this little hotel. I stayed here last year in September, and had a fine stay. This year I booked through one of the online services and indicated I was traveling alone, but with my dog. I ended up getting a room that was so small that there was no place to put the dog bed they provided. I had to put it in front of the room's door! Excellent location in the centre of Salamanca, just at the Plaza Mayor. Very friendly staff, had a lovely breakfast, rooms certainly OK. Salamanca has lots to offer.
