Beautiful quality parador in the centre of Pontevedra

Beautiful building. Our room was lovely clean and spacious. Wonderful quality bed linen. We enjoyed sitting in the drawing room and reading. Very central and near to all amenities.I marked down due to the reception staff who were not welcoming or helpful.Beautiful building. Our room was lovely clean and spacious. Wasn’t sure if this hotel was as going to be a bit Faulty Towers - but we were given a lovely corner room with a balcony and it was pretty comfortable. Service OK a bit surly on the terrace though. Brilliant location in the historic centre. So fun to stay in this old historic building! The rooms were comfortable and full of character. We loved all the old-style furniture around the building; it felt like we were at a fancy house party in the past. The fridges are small and full of minibar drinks, so that made it hard to get our own breakfast food, but we managed. The views of the garden were lovely.
