No Frills Hotel In A Great Part of Vigo

This is one of many hotels along a busy, but well located street. It is a no frills hotel - teeny tiny room, but it had a desk, closet and decent bathroom. And the bed was quite comfortable. I wouldn't stay more than a night here, but it was fine. Though a touch over priced, the convenience of the breakfast was helpful. I made an online reservation at Hotel Panton. At check-in I was informed that there was an electrical problem at the hotel (despite the fact that the lights were on in the room beside reception) and that the best solution was to bring me to another hotel a minute away.  I was assured this would be a better hotel, more expensive, and that they would cover the price difference. This is a 2 star hotel with a very good rate! Located right on the main street that takes you to the Cathedral and close to different attractions, restaurants and train station. It was located perfectly in the city center. 15 minutes of walking and you are in the city centre, historical and marítima.Staff is amazing friendly and cozy. RoomWas clean and big. Easy to find. Parking available underneath, Walking distance to centre. Clean. Helpful staff. Breakfast buffet was reasonable though not spectacular. Wi-fi works.
