AMAZINGLY FRIENDLY STAFF, AND BEAUTIFUL HISTORICAL HOTEL.
We spent a couple of days at this amazing hotel. My husband had visited it in the 60s when he was a teenager! The location was great and all the amenities were very nice, too. We had a deluxe double-room with a small terrace with a sea-view. Very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Clean room. Amazing! However, I have been and had better furnished rooms in our previous trips. I didn't quite get… We spent a couple of days at this amazing hotel. A step back in time... a grand older hotel (hence the name!) that's still well kept but peaked in another era

This is a classic, older hotel that's seen fancier days (as recently at the late 80s, with major conferences held here) but is still hanging in there with current management (for the most part). And it remains very, very photogenic! Some photos are attached. If you're in the area, THIS is the hotel to stay at.Really enjoyed our… What a trip back to another time... and generation (or two or three).
