Absolute farce. I had a gf person in my party. They chose the Vietnamese prawns I got 3 diffrent answers to if they contained gluten. The menu said no. As a chef of a hotel, this non knowlage is also illegal and potentially could kill someone . if my staff were as incompetent as this I wouldn’t have kept my job at my hotel. As for the dessert. Quite why they would call this place the old castle is beyond me - it is in what looks like an apartment complex. But with decent (paid) underground parking and a fairly central location, it is good for a night or so. Pleased to find this hotel as dog friendly lodgings are not common in Spain. However dogs are not allowed in the public areas so be prepared to eat and drink outside. This is not a hardship as there are tapas bars nearby in this lovely town. Only problem we had was getting the car back in the morning. This is a clean, basic European business hotel located a 15 minute walk from the train station. Parking in their underground garage can be a hassle since they have only 2 key fobs to open the gate which must be returned to the front desk after use.
