The parador is situated well into the country so vehicle transport is necessary.The building is a converted monastery, complete with quadrangle.The hotel has been transformed to a very high standard with a separate breakfast/lunch area, and also a large restaurant at a lower level, accessed by lift, which served very good , local style food. Heck of a ride, the last bit tiny roads, with no idea how much further! Make sure you fill up with petrol as the village, Luintra is the only place for miles. On the Ourense road.Beautiful building with the usual Parador touches, but you need a password to access the lifts. Make sure they explain that to you properly.
