  Nice and simple, friendly staff and in a very conveniant locaton

  We stayed here for a long weekend in November and the staff were super accomodating and helpful. Rooms are simple and a bit outdated but have everything you need. The location is great as it is near a number of bakeries and restaurants, a 5 minute walk to bus and tram stops and a 10-15 minute walk to the city centre. My advice is that when coming in by taxi, make sure you tell them the full hotel name: ‘El Churra Vistalegre’. There is a sister hotel just called ‘El Churra’ a few minutes walk away, so easy to get mixed up.

  Slow Wifi !

  This hotel has lousy wifi which is too bad because this is a nice and high value hotel. The rooms are outdated but the windows open fully and the bed is comfortable for a good night sleep. The parking is a nightmare, especially if their lot is full. The staff is helpful, friendly, and enthusiastic. Just fix the wifi and this place could easily earn a 4 star TA rating. The rooms are decent size and the bathroom provides an adequate and clean shower facility.

  Spent 3 nights here. Its in the middle of a residential area behind a hospital containing a labyrinth of small square apartment blocks, all about 4-5 storeys high. About an 8-10 minute walk to public transport (bus & tram). There's quite a few eateries a few minutes walk away but the area is a bit confusing. All the roads and blocks look the same. And Google maps isn't always helpful.The reception staff are polite and helpful and speak good English. Breakfast was good and plentiful. A taxi to the bus station will cost €8-€10.

  Firstly the photo we saw was nothing like what we got but the photos on trip advisor are very accurate. The reception staff were friendly & efficient they even changed our room straight away. We moved to the top floor overlooking the road with a small balcony but nice to be able to step out. The room was spotlessly clean as was the whole of the hotel. Our room had a large walk in shower with soap & shampoo provided with the usual hotel hairdryer. Only fault in there was the proximity of the toilet to the sink it is very close. Comfy bed, fridge with little mini bar, TV & great air conditioning. We were bed & breakfast & it was okay a mixture of things. The bar downstairs is used by locals for eating & drinking & reasonably priced. The staff were again very friendly & some even managed to speak English. All in all a nice city hotel good value for money & in a good location.

  We arrived at the bus station, you really do need a taxi as it's quite a walk (thats if you can find it!). The taxi was 7.30euros. The hotel is down a side street in a residential area but it's ok. Check in was quick,nice staff. Our room was on the third floor, 4th and 5th floor are smoking rooms. The room was large and clean, comfy beds and a fridge. Not many English channels. No balcony. The bathroom was cleaned very well every day, shampoo etc topped up. A nice powerful shower and large bath. Hair dryer from the 60s. Internet in the room was rubbish but you could use the computer in the lobby free of charge. If you book on their own web site you stay 5 nights and pay for four, so it works out very reasonable. Murcia is a place that is ok to visit for a few days. We would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a good price and a clean room.
