Lovely hotel, shame about the pool.

We travelled may school holidays, last min booking. Now the hotel itself is clean, basic but very clean. No complaints here.We booked the hotel with the thoughts thats its a child friendly hotel, which it is apart from the pool area. The pool itself, perfect! Loads of space, sun beds and very clean. However the life guard wants to work in a 5* adults only hotel. "No floats" "no jumping" "no balls". He seemed to make the rules up as he went along. Many people during our stay complained as it was 90% families with children who were bored as they weren't allowed to do anything. We are not the type of parents who would allow our children to make a nuisance. We watch them like hawks, especially in water and around other people. This made a cheap last min getaway more expensive as we had to pay into the water park a good few times to keep the kids entertained.Personally, we wouldn't go back on this basis.

We had a fantastic week here.. Absolutely yes it is dated but it's immaculate cleanliness wise.. Our apartment was cleaned, beds & towels changed every other day.Check in was easy, friendly & quick.The apartment faced the pool which again was immaculate, plenty of sunbeds but I imagine in high season this might be different.Everything you need for self catering but the apartments are relatively small if there's more than 2.The sofa bed is a sofa & a slide out underneath which takes up most of the living area. It's a 5 min walk to a beautiful cove with a really safe small beach & a couple of lovely beach bars.It's a 20/25 min walk into the resort centre which is old & tired sadly. We only ate out once at Yuca & the food was excellent. It's a 45 min much better walk along the coast into Ciutadella with a wealth of bars & restaurants.. The no. 61 bus runs hourly & takes about 15mins (cash only) Cheapest ATM is down at the cove €5 per withdrawal.. Most banks are €7 to €9..none are free. Supermarket & bus stop are 10min walk away.We cycled a lot of the island & it's a great way to get around.. Drivers are exceptionally courteousEnjoy, it's such a beautiful chilled island

Loved it..Our only concern was walking back at night as some pavements are broken and the surrounding area needs a tidy up.The resort and room were excellent. Restaraunt and food was great.

Stayed here several times. Just back again from another relaxing week in this hotel. Staff are always helpful and friendly. Rooms are quite dated but are always clean , pool area and the pool are fantastic. Always plenty of sunbeds available. Hire a car as the hotel is quite isolated. Everywhere on the island is only a short drive away. Hopefully the new owners will invest some money and modernise the rooms. Only problem this time was a very rude bar person called Megan who really needs some front f house customer training.

Just come back from the Vista Blanes had a lovely week there. The apartments are clean and had everything we needed. We had a room by pool on bottom floor. Pool area was fine always a sun bed there anytime of day. The apartments are about a 20 min walk from plenty of restaurants and Jimmy Hills with brilliant tribute acts every night. Megan and Joan (glasses) jn the restaurant were very friendly and helpful . Would return there .
