Firstly, I'd like to state that we had a great time. It was me, my partner, and our two kids, aged 2 and 6.Starting with the positives, the pool area was lovely, with no fighting for sunbeds, and the slides were great fun. This was a very late booking with Jet2 holidays. Only 1 room left and was self-catering only. Had visited before about 35 years ago with children and returned with grown up daughter and grandchildren. Was surprised to see little had changed. Children loved the pools and nearby beach. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful on arrival and throughout our stay. The accommodation was ok but very outdated. We were fully self catering yet had no oven. The only restaurant onsite was a small bar selling light lunches and snacks, disappointed that it closed at 5pm, which meant there was nowhere to buy a drink or ice cream after that time. We are just back from a 7 night stay at Playa Parc as a family of 5. We booked as a last minute holiday and to be honest was one of the cheapest deals we could get for a family of 5.
