  If hotel is categorised as 4 stars, it should provide at least what is expected.. firstly, deplorable service by front desk staff, seemed like they were doing us a favor by checking us in! Breakfast served in a sad basement space, shocking that milk served is made from milk powder, horrible pre-made coffee served. Hotel lists parking provided free but that is NOT the case, basement parking is at a charge. Tiny TV monitors in room. Only good thing, rooms are ample with gorgeous seaview.

  A poor hotel

  Position good but up steep hill, stands within another hotel, and rows of terraced houses, swimming pool not near hotel and open to all . the room is basic no chairs balcony useless ,would not stay there again.

  Own beach fantastic views

  Glad I took no notice of the negative reviews. This hotel is excellent, the view from the terrace bar restaurant are of all the bay and hills. Our room was plenty big enough lots of room, good bathroom etc. Our room faced the beach very nice to wake up to. We dined in the restaurant the menu of the day great value 14euros for 3 courses all fresh and well cooked. Breakfast is in the basement but not dull we found it bright and cheerful. The choice is continental but loads of choices meats, cheese, fresh fruit pastries etc. We didn’t use the wellness centre.

  Lies and rudeness, what a pathetic way to treat the customer

  It's difficult to summarize the disastrous experience. The attractive location and the facilities make you believe you'll have a pleasant stay. Any prerequisite for a hotel claiming four stars is missing. The staff systematically lies and is rude to the client, and they do not seem to have been properly trained in providing customer service.I got a poorly decorated and most noisy room where sleeping became impossible (and in my case, I needed to do so to get up early the following morning). I had asked for a double bed, but at my arrival I was informed that there was none available, which I’m as yet far from willing to believe, given the several lies I was told during and after my stay there). The line to reception didn't work, there is no information whatsoever about the facilities in the room (you can get two poorly designed and printed pamphlets at the reception - one about the hotel (useless) and the other with a price-list for the spa), the pillows are extremely uncomfortable, the minibar is empty (just two tiny bottles of water), the Wi-Fi is slow, there is not even a chair to sit on in the balcony, most of the spaces of the outdoor parking are quite far down and right under some pine-trees which meant that some of the cars parked there got badly stained, etc. (and it's rated as a 4-star hotel, really?). And when I went for dinner at the rooftop restaurant, just after having carefully explained several waiters about the food intolerances I have, I got one of the products I can’t eat on my plate!!! After that, I just decided not to order anything else (just in case) or tried to have breakfast in the depressing basement room.The worst part came when, after having informed reception that the person sharing room with me wouldn’t come that day (just in case they wanted to assign me an individual room so that they could give the double to other guests) they said I shouldn’t worry about that. I both talked to them on the phone and at reception and said I could stay in the same room (I had made clear I would happy to be transferred to a smaller room). When I left the hotel the following morning and they charged a double room I mentioned the conversations we’d had the day before. In a rude way the receptionist answered that she didn’t know anything about the issue. As it was a waste of time to try to discuss any further and I had to leave, I asked for the complaints book. A bit later I phoned the hotel again to speak to the Manager or the Head of Reception and clarify the situation (by the way, their English, both written and spoken, is just pathetic). The answer was that I couldn’t talk to them at that moment (meaning they were busy – one more lie), so I was asked to leave my phone number. As they didn’t phone, I tried again. This time, in a most rude and grumpy tone I was said that neither of them was working that day. And of course, I’m still waiting for a return call…Don’t waste your money. I made a mistake giving this hotel a chance. I know the area quite well and basically any 2 or 3-star hotels in Viveiro and surroundings will give you a better service (as this is the rating they would get).

  Many ways to relax and great location for exploring the north coast

  + The hotel is located just above a beautiful beach, next to the boulevard connecting to Viveiro. There is an underground garage. Great locations for exploring north coast of Galicia. The spa facilities are great, with a good offer. Breakfasts were a bit below expectations - variety is good, but the room could be arranged in a more cosy way. The restaurant upstairs is fantastic, with great staff. In general, good place to stay for holidays!- Breakfast area is a bit overwhelming.
