It was a very good stay. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was amazing! The hotel was nice and quiet. The staff provided excellent service and kept the place clean. Good people at the front desk decent breakfast and rooms were clean. Quiet at all times not much noise. My husband and I spent nine nights at the Hampton Inn Rochester South in October and November, 2025, while I was a patient at Mayo Clinic. Our stay was excellent in many ways, starting with the welcoming smiles of Amanda, Joey and Miguel. The breakfast area and eating area were always spotless; hot breakfast menu rotated daily and was always good. Forget the downtown places, the Hampton was 10 minutes from the Mayo, significantly cheaper and had free parking. Mayo ramp was affordable as well. Impressively quiet on the 3rd floor. Hotel breakfast including 3 warm items was fine and served until 10 AM weekdays. Pool area and Fitness area open 24 hours. Kwik Trip 2 blocks south, HyVee grocery and Trader Joe's about 5 minutes away.
