We stayed in "Apartamentos Ciudad de Lugo" for the second time this year. Our choice was reasonable as we got everything we expected and needed - spacious and clean rooms, breakfast filling, and friendly and helpful staff. Budget hotel but nice and clean. You can choose to park in the garage for €6 or there’s some outdoor parking available if you’re lucky. The rooms were a bit cold because the apartment is tiled, however, there is a radiator that you can turn on and off. The kitchenette is perfect if you want to cook something, with a mini fridge too. My wife and I spent two nights here on our way to Sarria to start the Camino walk. These apartments are well located about 200-300 metres from the Roman wall, the old town and the bus station. The train station is about 500 metres. The rooms are clean and large. The staff at reception are efficient and friendly. The attached café provides a reasonable cheap breakfast and will do snacks. Got a great deal on these apartments. We were just staying for one night so didn't spend much time there but it's completely self catering so you'd be very comfortable here if you were staying for longer. We spent three days at Lugo and we really enjoyed this hotel. Why? There are a lot of arguments. It is close to the Roman Wall and the old town. The apartment is large, with all the facilities. It was very clean. The staff were very hospitable, explaining what are the city's points of interest. The location has a underground car park at a small fee.
