What makes this hotel special is that it is housed in a former monastery, and you can certainly see that throughout the property. The inner courtyard is beautiful, and the breakfast room is in the old chapel.Parking is available in the hotel's private parking garage, which is situated behind the hotel. Incredible parador within a former monastery. An oasis of tranquility right in the old town. Stunning building, confortable accommodation and very friendly staff. I wish to register an EXTREME complaint. Last night I was stuck in the lift on my own for over 20 minutes. It was over 40 centigrade outside and there was no aircon in the lift. I pressed the emergency button ( obv) many many times with no response. I banged on the door and screamed help.
