Large modern hotel in Leon
This is a modern hotel with modern furniture and bathrooms. We were upgraded to a larger room, but it was an average size. The wifi was very slow.Parking under the hotel was very tight to get into with a large estate car, but we managed and it was secure.Buffet breakfast was good.We ate in El Corte Ingles department store which is opposite and convenient if you want to eat before 21.00 in Spain.… This is a modern hotel with modern furniture and bathrooms. Overnight stay during our Camino through Leon
Spent a night during our Camino Santiago trip; staff were polite and couldn’t do enough for us. The room and facilities were clean with all the amenities you would expect and the breakfast was excellent. Decent hotel with a relatively short walking distance to sights.
Was part of a Camino Frances tour group.Hotel was about 15 minutes away from important sights, like the Leon Cathedral. The Hotel was directly across the street from the El Corte Ingles department store. Which was convenient if you want to get a bottle of water or other snacks without going to a restaurant or other special interest shop and paying those prices. Great staff, location, comfy bed
This is the second Silken hotel I have stayed in. I think the Silken group have taken this hotel over from another chain. The rooms were dated and could do with a freshen up. The flooring in my room was damaged. However, the staff were super helpful, the bed was really comfortable. I slept well for the 3 nights I was there. There is a bar but is only open Monday to Thursday, it could do with one o… This is the second Silken hotel I have stayed in. I think the Silken group have taken this hotel over from another chain. Not great
More 3 star than 4. Very basic rooms in the “standard” room type. You can definitely find a better 4 star in León. We were supposed to stay 2 nights but checked out after one. The location is not central so not great for sightseeing. A real disappointment.More 3 star than 4. Very basic rooms in the “standard” room type. You can definitely find a better 4 star in León.
