Disappointed but could easily be better.
Woeful is the best description I can give Arva, Leon Spain. The hotel is a 10 minute drive from the city centre and located next to a hospital on the same grounds. Came through for us in an uncomfortable situation
This is a review of one staff member, in particular. Amanda in reception was so helpful when the electricity in our room unexpectedly went out at around 22:00. She did what she could to fix the electrical issue, but when that failed, Amanda quickly moved us into another room. She even comped us breakfast the next morning for our inconvenience! Mid standard hotel that's hard to access.
This was the only 3* as opposed to 4* hotel we stayed in on our tour round N Spain/Portugal, and the difference was obvious. That said, The Paris is a perfectly good hotel and VERY good choice for those wishing to explore old Leon.Rooms are reasonably comfortable but a bit lacking. Only two sockets for charging, and a bit cramped. Bed OK, but nothing special. Stay away if you’re not a local
There’s about 10% of the staff here who detest and essentially “spit upon” foreigners. There’s at least 6 employees who go out of their way to help make the stay enjoyable. The man who works nights at the front desk is generally mean and not personable. Wonderful, small, cosy, modern place
Wonderful, comfortable place to stay. I stayed for one night in a small cosy hotel room which was decorated in a modern way and was a equipped with TV, AC and fridge. Bathroom was also modern. There would need to be some renovation but still fine.Breakfast buffet was also nice. Continental breakfast with lots of choices and fresh coffee.Would definitely stay here again!Wonderful, comfortable place to stay.
