BLUF: This is not a 4* hotel. Not easy to find as it is on the same site as a large hospital. Athough the hotel states it has parking, this is not dedicated, and guests have to use an insecure public car park below the hotel, for which there is an additional €10 charge not stated at booking. I stayed here for a week waiting for a friend to be discharged from hospital.The hotel is really well situated for that being just across the road.Front of house staff are amazing (thanks Antonio, Aytana and Jose) they all deserve a pay rise. The hotel is not located in Leon. It is in a hospital area, but there were no noise problems as the hospital is closed at night. The rooms were very spacious, with a fully equipped roomy bathroom that had both a bathtub and a shower, a wide working desk and big comfortable beds. The staff at the reception desk were extremely friendly, serviceable and professional. Overall nice hotel, ok reception, BUT the employees seemed forced to be untruthful when it came to whether or not the A/C worked. The window to one of our rooms was open upon our arrival and the so called A/C or ventilation system had to be turned on.
