A great building right in the centre of this little town. It took time to work out how to drive to it. Good helpful staff and great room. The only reason I have not given it 5 was the inflexible way the staff insisted that we could not eat until after 9.00pm as they were busy and we had to have breakfast at 8.00am! An absolutely beautiful parador in the heart of the city opposite the cathedral. Very warm welcome , beautiful room and great food. A great experience in the old nunnery. The locals were not prepared for the influx of tourists for the eclipse but got onboard fairly quickly.the hotel was spacious, and breakfats was a joy. but the restaurand is in another building a short walk away. This is a lovely Parador in the middle of Santo Domingo. A perfect location to visit the area. It has a gorgeous lobby to enjoy your pre-dinner drinks. The staff is very attentive and helpful.
