Top quality parador, but no bar

The usual pomp and circumstance of a great Spanish parador. Beautiful building. Great service and the room was large and comfortable. It was almost empty when we were there which is a shame. They don’t have a bar which is absolutely inexplicable. It meant we didn’t spend more time (and money) on site. Shame. Booked for location for the local towns which didn’t disappoint.. the room was excellent and the breakfast was reasonable. The hotel doesn’t have a bar which we felt was disappointing . We stayed here for a week as part of a Brittany ferries holiday where hotel and ferry included in price. Really nice hotel with lovely historic features mainly preserved. Large bedroom. Good breakfast with lots of choice included cooked items. We used their underground car park ( 16 EUR per day) as we had bicycles in the car.
