Ruta de los Dinosaurios and Parque Tematico Arguedas are both a 30-minute drive away. Bardenas Reales is some 45 minutes away by car, while Bodesa (Bodega de Sarria winery) is just 20 minutes away.

Having read bad reviews, we were not expecting good things. How wrong we were, the Reception staff could not have been any more helpful providing maps and english version copies of events happening during our stay. This Parador doesn't look like or feel like a Parador. More like a chain hotel.Rooms are quite dark with small windows. Calahorra is quite a depressing town to walk around. Breakfast cereals were very limited. Kelloggs Cocopops, Frosties or Bran. No cornflakes, Special K, Country Store, Oats or Weetabix. Very poor compared to other Paradors that we have stayed in.
