Stayed two nights in a Junior Suite room. Location is great and the building is amazing - so much history!Our room was lovely, spacious with high ceilings and traditional furniture. We had a very good meal in the restaurant but the overall experience was a bit disappointing. Lovely hotel!
We stayed here for 2 nights in July and it was great! The building is stunning and has a lot of history if you are interested. The rooms are a little dated but still spotless and spacious. The hotel staff were very kind and spoke brilliant English. We had breakfast both mornings and it was good! A wide selection of meats, cheeses, pastries and beverages; we had someone with a gluten allergy and so… We stayed here for 2 nights in July and it was great! We chose this hotel for a three-night stay after seeing photos of its beautiful covered inner courtyard, and it was even more impressive in person. Great location, clean but quite an old hotel. It has a lovely atrium but the hotel needs a little TLC, rooms are adequate but lack an overview. e.g. the bathroom door didn't shut, the door stopper is placed where you step out of the shower there is only a bin in the bathroom and lacks power sockets.
