Not quite a 4 star
Our experience at the poseidon hotel la manga was basically good but the 4 stars has to be earned in my mind. Nice hotel most of the staff were very helpful and the breakfast was good our room was nice but not the cleanest we only had 2 tea bags and 2 coffees and no milk which you had to purchase from the bar downstairs you only got more if you were all inclusive. My sister and I visited in August and were a little disappointed with our stay.The floor in our room was filthy when we checked in so we asked for this to be cleaned. Well I honestly couldn’t tell you if it had been done or not!The sliding door onto the balcony did not lock or shut properly. I did mention this to reception but nothing was done about it during our stay. Nice quite hotel, great sea view from my room, some stains on the wall.Excellent wifi, room cleaned every day, was given 2 bottles of water on some days but not others. Drinks ok, though you can't get cava or Baileys on the all inc, you can get Malibu but they were frequently running out of it. Friendly staff, lovely area and beautiful spa
The staff are extremely friendly and the area is a beautiful place to stay in. The spa is also definitely worth a visit. Only complaint I’d have is how noisy it can get from the hallway as doors tend to slam and the rooms aren’t 100% soundproof. Other than that the stay was lovely and definitely worth it if you’re looking for a chilled out holiday.
